Authorship and Contributionship

Commitment of the International Journal of Clinical Science and Medical Research

The International Journal of Clinical Science and Medical Research (IJCSMR) is dedicated to publishing innovative, multidisciplinary research that advances clinical science and medical knowledge globally. We are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards, ensuring full transparency in authorship and contributorship to uphold integrity and trustworthiness in scholarly publishing.

Authorship Eligibility

Authorship in IJCSMR is strictly reserved for individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research and its dissemination. To qualify as an author, individuals must fulfill all of the following criteria:

Significant Contribution: Made a meaningful contribution to the conception, design, data collection, or analysis of the study.

Manuscript Development: Participated in drafting or critically revising the manuscript for important intellectual content.

Final Approval: Approved the final version of the manuscript prior to submission.

Accountability: Taken responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and ethical conduct of the work.

Recognition of Contributors

Individuals who have supported the research but do not meet authorship criteria should be appropriately acknowledged. Such contributions may include technical support, administrative assistance, supervision, funding acquisition, or data collection efforts. These collaborators will be recognized in the manuscript's Acknowledgements section.

Role of the Corresponding Author

The corresponding author serves as the principal liaison with IJCSMR throughout the submission, peer review, and publication processes. Responsibilities include:

Verifying that all listed authors meet the journal’s authorship criteria.

Ensuring compliance with IJCSMR’s editorial policies.

Coordinating communications on behalf of all authors.

Collaborative Group Authorship

For extensive collaborative projects, a research group may be designated as the author, with individual contributors and their specific roles clearly outlined within the manuscript.

Changes to Authorship Post-Submission

Any amendments to authorship after manuscript submission, such as adding, removing, or reordering authors, require written consent from all authors alongside a detailed explanation submitted to IJCSMR.

Dispute Resolution

IJCSMR adheres to the ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for resolving authorship disputes. The editorial board may request documentation to facilitate equitable and transparent resolution.

Ethical Publishing Affirmation

Authors submitting to IJCSMR confirm that their contributions are accurate and agree to abide by the journal’s standards for research integrity and ethical publication practices.
